Chapter 19: Blackout

"What the fuck?" I mumbled, waking up as I heard shit getting thrown around outside of the bedroom that I was sleeping in. I shot out of bed when noises started getting louder and in the process of doing just that, I stubbed my pinky toe on the table that was placed next to the lamp post. "Motherfucker!"

As soon as I reached the living room, I froze.

It was a goddamn disaster

Everything was turned upside down except for the couch that Andy was currently behind of. "Andy?" I asked in a low whisper, not understanding what the hell he was up to. Seeing his head pop up, I raised an eyebrow. "Uh, what are you doing, dude?"

"Where's my shit, Bella?" he hissed, stepping away from the couch. "I know that you hid it, give it to me."

"Chill out," I started, holding my hands up in the air as he started walking over to me. "You don't need it."

Having only slept for a total of two hours, I wasn't in the mood for this shit today.

It was getting extremely old, and more than fucking annoying.

He growled when he reached me. "Bella, give it to me, now."

I shook my head, trying like all hell to remain calm. "You don't need to do this, man."

His eyes in response turned murderous, so I started walking backwards, knowing where this was leading to, which only meant that I needed to get back into the guest room that I was staying in, and lock the doors.

He started walking towards me slowly, calculating my moves. "Just stop, Bella...don—"

I turned around and ran into the hallway, not waiting for him to finish. When I heard footsteps behind me, my entire system started freaking out. I looked over my shoulder to see how close the kid was but then groaned a second later as I ran straight into the wall. With a smile, he tackled me onto the floor. "Fuck, Andy! Get off!"

"Where is it?" he shouted as he straddled me, pinning my wrists above my head.

I closed my eyes and opened them up again, only to see Emmett's Pop. "Phil, no!"

His grip around my wrists loosened at the same time that the weight that was holding me down left my body. I opened my eyes and saw Andy sitting against the wall with his hands up in the air. "Bella?"

I pushed myself up from the floor and shook my head as he followed suit. "Don't."

He nodded after a few seconds, and I ran into my room and locked myself in. Turning around, I leaned against the door and closed my eyes as I slid down onto the floor. "Fucking shit."

I heard banging from the other side and opened my eyes. "Just tell me where it is, please," he begged.

Crawling over to my bed, I lifted the mattress and found the baggie and needle that I hide there yesterday. I stood up and walked over to the door before opening it just enough to pass his shit through. "Thanks," Andy whispered, his fingers grabbing onto the plastic. Before I could pull my hand back in, he grasped it. "Bella, I—"

"Just forget about it," I said quickly, pulling my hand out of his hold before shutting and locking the door.

I walked over to my bed and laid down, pulling the covers over my body afterwards.

I didn't go to sleep, afraid of what I would see.

I just stayed underneath the covers, and stared at nothing but darkness.

Hearing my cell phone ringing, I kept my eyes closed as I started patting around the bed, looking for it. After finding the offending thing that disturbed my day dreams, I flipped it open. "Yeah?" I mumbled.

"I thought that you were coming over to Jaspers?"

"James?" He hummed in answer and I groaned. "Give me a little bit."

"You good?" he asked.

"Golden," I whispered, rolling my eyes. "I'll see you in a little."

When I stepped into the hallway that led to Edward and Blue Eyes' apartment, I stopped in my tracks, seeing Ms. Leggy Blonde Tramp leaning into someone with a crown of messy bronze hair, who was standing in front of their door.

Fucking animals.

They were obviously in their own little world and didn't hear me coughing as I tried to announce my presence. Edward's hands were underneath her shirt — if you can consider the flimsy fabric that — as they continued to pull her closer to him, while the broad was basically rubbing herself up and down his body like a cat in heat, or something of that nature.

I coughed again. "Uhm, yeah, Hello? Ewe."

Edward snapped out of it as he pulled his head way from her, turning it in my direction. Ms. Fun-Bags grabbed a hold of his face to bring it back to hers, but he brushed her hands away before discreetly composing himself.

Pig.

He stuttered my name, and I pursed my lips at his nervousness. "I didn't know that you were coming." The tramp tried to grab onto him again, but he pushed her away with an irritated groan. "Chill out, Tanya, fuck."

'Tanya' turned her attention to me with a glare. "What are you doing here?"

"No worries," I replied with a roll of my eyes as I turned around. "I'm leaving."

Hearing the prick mumbling and cursing behind me, I shook my head as I continued on my way. When I reached the hallway door that led out into the parking lot, I stopped at his voice. "Bae, wait up for a second!"

Turning around, I raised an eyebrow at the kid as he headed over towards me. "Don't leave," he whispered as he took a hold of my arm, shaking his head. "I just...I didn't know that you were coming over here, that's all."

"It's all good," I shrugged, "I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday."

"You're not staying?"

"No, I'm just going to head back," I whispered. He frowned as he let go of my arm, and I forced a smile. "Hey, no worries, Edward. I just wanted to say happy birthday, yeah?"

"Come in for a little bit anyway," he tried again. Looking over the kid's shoulder, I rolled my eyes at the tramp who was now glaring holes into my skull before he followed my gaze and growled. "Tanya, give me a minute."

"Whatever," she hissed, yanking the door open and slamming it shut behind her after she walked in.

He mumbled an apology as he ran his fingers through his hair, and I shrugged in nonchalant dismissal as I lowered my gaze down to the floor. "Look, just hang out for a little, yeah?"

Meeting his eyes again, I placed my arms across my chest. "I'm blaming it on you if a bitch dies tonight."

He snorted as he held onto the wall that was next to us. "Tanya is all talk, Bae. Chill out."

I smirked as I grabbed a hold of his chin, and he raised an eyebrow at me when I brought his face down to my own before I sniffed his mouth. "You're drunk!" I accused in a laugh, pushing his head away from mine.

"It's my birthday," he explained in a wide grin. "I have an excuse."

I frowned as I looked away from him. "So I hear. Thanks for letting me know that, by the way."

He laughed my name before he brought my face back to his with his hands placed over my cheeks. "I hate my motherfucking birthday, Bella...so don't feel like I didn't tell you because of some goddamn ill reason, alright?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

"Come on," he whispered, grabbing a hold of my hand before pulling me towards his front door, all impatient like and whatnot. "Let's go inside."

After stepping inside, he nodded towards the kitchen as I shook my hand out of his tight grip, closing the door behind us with my back. "I'm going to go get something to drink, what do you want?"

"Whatever, it doesn't matter," I answered, looking around the living room.

He nodded before walking off. "I'll be back, stay put."

"You stay put," I mumbled to myself before returning my attention back to the party.

Emmett and Jasper were sitting down on the couch, playing some kind of a card game.

Looking over to their right, I saw Rose and Pixie laughing with Jake, who was next to my so called best friend, shaking his head at whatever she was talking about with the energizer bunny.

Andy and James were by the open window in deep conversation, smoking cigarettes.

After I walked over to the couch, I mumbled a quick "Hey" at Emmett and Blue Eyes before they both turned their attention away from their card game. My brother stood up with a smile over his face, causing one of my own to show up, simply because his were contagious. "I haven't seen you in a while," I whispered.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up in the air, and I closed my eyes in return while I held onto him. "I didn't know that you were coming over here tonight, Kiddo. I would've picked you up, if I knew."

I frowned as he lowered me back down onto the floor. "Yeah, thanks for letting me know that it was Edward's birthday."

"Shit has been kind of crazy these past few days," he whispered with a slight grimace. "I'm sorry, Bella."

I went to tell him not to worry about it, but Blue Eyes stood up from the couch and threw his arm across my shoulder. "Bella Boooooooo," he slurred into my ear, acting like he was a romantic, or something along those lines.

I snorted when his whole body leaned against mine, as if he thought that I was a linebacker of some kind. As he went to give me a sloppy kiss, I groaned his name and pushed his face away from my own. "Dude, you're wrecked."

"True story," he said, smirking at my…eye?

I shook my head at the kid before I gently pushed him back down onto the couch. He fell with a grunt and Em laughed as he sat next to him. Taking a hold of his cards, his amusement turned into a growl before he looked at Jasper with narrowed eyes. "You cheating motherfucker!"

Blue Eyes attempted to shrug his shoulders, but the drunk ended up falling back into the couch cushions in consequence. "Losers can't be choosers," he stated, causing me to instantly walk away from his philosophy.

When I reached my other friends, Rose narrowed her eyes at me. I rolled my own before I sat down on Jake's lap, bored with her hater being. "Who invited you?" my former hookah asked the kid who I was sitting on top of, instead of me.

Wrecked.

I shrugged. "I invited myself, since my buddies decided to just forget that I even fucking existed."

"Bella Boo!" Pix screeched like a goddamn bird as she pushed herself away from Rose's chest that her back was leaning against, therefore almost falling off of Rose's lap. Jake's one hand shot out to her stomach and gently pushed her back. "Is that you?"

"Damn, is everyone wrecked already?" I laughed, looking over my shoulder. Jake nodded, and when I noticed his swollen bottom lip, I pursed my own together. Running my finger over it, I grimaced. "Emmett got to you already, yeah?"

"Fwucking pwick," he hissed, swatting my hand away. "I cwant dwink swit in fwont owtha mwathafwucka."

I grinned at his jumbled words. "You guys are fucking nuts."

He shrugged as he looked over his shoulder. "Pwick!"

Em laughed as he lifted one of his hands up in the air to give Jake the middle finger without actually looking at the kid. "It's prick, you moron, not Pwick."

I shook my head at their antics before I stood up and started heading towards the kitchen.

Thanks for my goddamn drink, Edward.

When I walked in, I found the room empty.

Weird.

I headed over to the fridge and pulled the door open before I grabbed myself a cold bottle of Miller Lite, seeing as to how I had a feeling that whiskey wouldn't be found here as I deemed Edward Cullen a lightweight. After reaching the counter, I started going through his overly organized drawers, looking for something to open my drink with. Finding nothing, I cursed the existence of that overbearing piece of an OCD m'effer with a growl.

"Why are you always growling?"

I turned around and saw James standing there, leaning against the door with his arms placed across his chest. "Where's the bottle cap opener?" I hissed, turning my attention back to my search. "He's such a freak!"

I stopped when I felt him behind me. Placing his bottle on top of the counter in front of me, he pulled me back a bit and reached up before he opened the cabinet that was placed above my head. After taking the bottle cap opener out of there, he used his other hand to grab a hold of my bottle of beer. "There you go," he whispered, handing it to me after uncapping it.

I turned around and faced him as I nodded. "Uh, thanks."

He didn't move back or anything, so he was just...right the fuck there.

Placing both of his hands on the counter by my hips, he smirked. "No problem."

I rolled my eyes. "You're invading my dance space, James."

"Are we quoting Dirty Dancing now?" he asked with a raised brow.

"Spaghetti arms," I mocked as I rubbed his arms before I gasped a second later, feeling the hard muscles that were laying underneath his skin. "Okay, so maybe not," I mumbled, letting my hands drop from their 'study.'

He grinned, shaking his head. "You're something else, Bella."

I shrugged before I looked up at him. "Hey, have you seen Edward? He told me that he was going to get me a drink but after some time went by with nothing, I came in here and found it em—" I stopped, noticing that at my words, James rolled his eyes. "What?" I asked, placing my hands on top of the counter behind me.

He nodded towards the door. "Edward is probably in his bedroom right now, getting his dick sucked."

"What?"

"Don't be surprised," he replied to my incredulous being, "That's just what he does." After a few seconds went by, his eyes widened a little bit, taking my silence that wrong way. "Oh shit, were you two hooking up, or s—"

"No way," I interrupted, shaking my head. He raised a disbelieving eyebrow at me and I nodded before I went on. "Honest to God, Edward and I are just friends. Hardly even that most of the time."

He nodded as he slowly pushed himself away from me, keeping his eyes on mine. After walking over to the kitchen table, he pulled two chairs out and took a seat on one of them. "So, do you feel like playing a drinking game?"

"What kind of drinking game?" I asked, joining him.

"Hmm, let's play truth or dare, make it a little interesting, yeah?"

"Truth or Dare, though?" I laughed. "What are we, sixteen years old?"

"Don't knock the game, B," he gasped dramatically. "It's a classic. Plus, there's nothing better to do. Everyone out there is already half lit, and I'm more than fucking bored. I'm sure that you are, too, seeing as to how my ass found your ass growling in here a couple of minutes ago."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine, what are the rules?"

"If either one of us don't want to answer the truth, or do the dare, then we have to chug for thirty seconds." I shrugged, not finding that a big deal, and he smirked as he leaned back into his chair. "That thirty seconds has to be on the other person's count," he added.

"Fuck," I mumbled. "I'm going to be shit faced, I can see it already."

He grinned, bringing his bottle of beer up to his mouth. "That's the whole point, dumb-ass."

I leaned back and got comfortable. "Alright, let's do the damn thing."

"Truth or Dare?"

"Truth," I answered.

"How long has it been since you got some?"

I laughed as I placed my arms across my chest. "Damn, James. The first goddamn question that you ask me is that one? Really?"

He shrugged, sitting up. "Well?"

"What do you consider 'getting some,' because it's been a hell of a long time since I actually got laid."

"Anything."

"A couple of weeks ago," I answered. He raised an eyebrow at me and I laughed, denying his silent request for details. "Oh no, you don't. I answered your stupid 'beginner' question, so it's clearly my turn. Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"Pussy," I replied, bringing my beer bottle up to my mouth to take a sip.

He smirked at my name calling before he shrugged. "Think whatever you want."

"Alright, so what do you do for a living?"

He stood up and walked over to the fridge. "I'm a salesman."

"Selling what?" I asked as he grabbed two more bottles of beer.

Handing me one after uncapping it, he shrugged as he took a seat again. "I sell drugs."

I hummed as he leaned back and took a long sip of his beer. "That's nice, I guess."

"What?" he spat at my sarcasm, his demeanor something different. "You don't want to talk to me now?"

"No," I started, "it's no—"

"Look, Bella. It's what I do, so if you don't like it, whatever...that's on you. It's not my fucking 'choice' of work, but I have to do what I ha—"

"Hey," I interrupted, waving my hands up in the air, "whatever. It's not a big deal." He looked away from me and I rolled my eyes before I continued. "Stop being so goddamn melodramatic, you little bitch."

A small grin escaped his lips as he ran his hands his face. Looking back at me, he raised an eyebrow. "Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"Should we call this game Truth or Truth?" he asked.

I laughed. "Call it whatever you want to call it."

"Did you ever use before?" I shook my head. "Why not?"

"I don't know." He raised an eyebrow at me. "I'm scared, I guess."

"Scared?"

I finished off my beer before I nodded. "I don't like the aspect of getting hooked on something like that."

"I'm not hooked," he argued. "I just do it whenever I get into one of my weird ass moods."

"You're not hooked?" I asked, finding it hard to believe that shit.

"No, Bella," he laughed, shaking his head, "I'm not hooked. I can stop whenever I want. Look at it this way if you don't believe me. Andy came packing tonight, and you know that. I didn't even think about using, at all."

After a few seconds of trying to see if he was lying, I continued, taking his word since he was clearly not in any way messed up. "Truth or Dare?"

"Dare," he answered with a grin. "Why not make things more interesting, right?"

"I dare you to stand up, get naked, and sing your little heart out to 'Cops' theme song." He looked at me incredulously, and I laughed as I sat up a bit. "Pussy!"

With narrowed eyes, he stood up and pulled his shirt off, throwing it over his shoulder afterwards. Pushing his jeans down to the floor, he stepped out of them with a raised brow, and I nodded at the rest of his clothes. "I'm not taking my boxers off, you might not be able to handle it."

I rolled my eyes at his smirk as I took a long sip of my beer. Placing the bottle on top of the table, I nodded at his clothed feet. "Ewe. Take your socks off, they creep me out."

He did as I told him to with scrunched together eyebrows. "Good?"

"Mmhmm."

He grabbed his beer off of the table and took a long swig, causing me to cackle. "Bella, you're making me a bit nervous here," he teased, tapping the top of his bottle that he was using as a microphone.

"I'm waiting," I told him, scooting my chair back so that I could face him. "Come on, bad boy."

He shook his head at me before he began.

"Bad boys, bad boys, Whatchu gon' do, whatchu gon' do when they come for you.

Bad boys, bad boys, Whatchu gon' do, whatchu gon' do when they come for you,"

As soon as I heard his horrible voice and saw his hips rolling back and forth...

I lost it.

I was...dyyiiiiiinngg!

I seriously couldn't take it.

"You chuck it on this one, you chuck it on this one, you chuck it on mother and you chuck it on your father. You chuck it on your brother and you chuck it on your sister. You chuck it on that one and you chuck it on me!"

I practically flew off of the chair that I was sitting on as I choked on my beer, and when I hit the floor with a dull thud, I started waving my hands around in the air, begging for him to stop. "St—oh God, stop! I can't!"

His thrusts froze. "You good?"

"Oh my fucking God!" I snorted, trying to catch my breath. "That was...beyond words!"

After walking over to where I was, he offered me his hand. "What?" he asked as he quickly pulled me up to my feet, causing me to stumble into him a little bit. "I told you that your ass wouldn't be able to handle it."

"That was classic," I whispered as he took a sip of his beer. "You're such a moron!"

"You dared me," he shrugged, causing me to laugh as I walked over to the counter. Turning around, I leaned against it as I placed my arms across my chest, and he rolled his eyes at my shake of the head before coming up to me. "So, what did you think?"

"James, if you ever decide to make an album, I'll probably make you rich alone."

He nodded at my teasing as he grabbed a hold of my beer bottle, placing it and his own on top of the counter behind me. "Truth or Dare?" he asked, positioning himself in front of me with his palms against the marble, next to my waist.

"Dare."

He hummed as he looked down at me. "What should my dare be?"

"It's your dare," I replied, placing my hands behind me, my fingers touching his. "Pick whatever you want."

"I dare you to kiss me." He shrugged when he saw my expression of come again? "You can pass and drink."

I narrowed my eyes at him. "I'm not one for passing up dares."

"Then don't," he whispered, moving a little bit closer to me.

Keeping my eyes on his, I nodded, and he smirked before his face started lowering itself down towards mine. When our lips were about to connect, the kitchen door swung open, quickly breaking me out of the moment as I leaned back. "Shit, man. I didn't know that you were in here, my bad."

James looked over his shoulder with a grin while I hid my face against the kid's chest, instantly recognizing that goddamn voice. Moving to my side, my 'hiding spot' shrugged. "No problem, Edward. We were just playing a little game."

When Edward's eyes met my form, he stepped into the kitchen and let the door shut behind him. "Bella?"

I rolled my eyes after I turned around and faced the counter. After grabbing my beer, I went to leave the room but he blocked the goddamn door, placing his arms across his chest. "Get out of my way, you idiot."

Keeping his eyes on me, he addressed James. "Can you give us a minute, man?"

"Yeah, no problem." Walking past us, he grinned at me as he pushed the door open. "I'll see you later."

"What the fuck, Bae?" Edward spat, taking a hold of my arm as soon as the door shut behind James.

I growled as he dragged my ass over to the table. "What is your fucking dilemma, man?"

"My dilemma?" he squeaked as he tossed me down onto one of the chairs. I snorted at his drunk being as he threw his hands up into the air, stumbling over to the other side of the table before taking a seat across from me. "My dilemma is you and James, Bella. You need to stay away from the kid."

"Okay, Edward. I'll stay away from him."

He growled at my sarcasm as he slammed his fists against the table. "I'm fucking serious! James is bad news."

I leaned back and shook my head. "Edward, you have anger issues that you need to take care of."

"You're so fucking irritating," he gritted as he stood up from his seat. After stalking over to me, he took a hold of my arm and pulled me up to my feet. "You need to stop."

I yanked my wrists out of his grip before I pushed him away from me. "Christ, Edward! Shut the hell up!"

"No," he hissed, his voice as pissed off as mine. I gritted my teeth as he grabbed a hold of both of my arms to pull me towards the kitchen door. "You are the one who needs to shut the hell up, Bella. Not fucking me."

Okay.

This was getting old.

"Edward, just let me go!" I groaned, more than frustrated.

Letting go of the grip that his fingers had around my wrists, he turned around and grabbed a hold of my shoulders before he started shaking my being. "I can't do that, Bella! I fucking care about you, alright?"

I looked up at him when his hold abruptly left me. "Well stop," I whispered as I started walking backwards.

Running his fingers through his hair, he shook his head as he started heading towards me. "I can't just stop."

My back hit the counter. "Stop," I gritted, narrowing my eyes at his proximity.

"No," he repeated, standing in front of me. "God, Bella. You act like it's fucking ridiculous for someone to ca—"

"Stop," I growled, interrupting him as I pushed his being away from me. "I'm leaving." When Edward grabbed a hold of my waist from behind as I went to do just what I told him that I was going to do, my irritation made itself known as my eyes clenched shut. "I'm warning you..."

"Will you fucking stop?" he yelled, his loud voice causing my eyes to open as he turned me around. "Goddamn it! Just fucking relax, for one second!"

"You have two seconds."

"One. Two," he counted with a roll of his eyes.

I blacked out as I slapped him across the face, with everything that I had, causing his head to sharply turn to the side from the impact as he took it. I gasped in stun after a second, seeing the red mark that my palm left over his cheek. "Oh shit! I'm sorry!"

He shook his head, dismissing my excessive behavior, as he pulled me towards him. I cursed my own waste of a being as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders. "It's alright," he whispered over and over again as tears ran down my face.

Pushing myself away from him after a minute, I shook my head as I ran my hands down my face, pissed off at no one but myself. "I can't believe that I just hit you like that...I'm just like hi—"

"Stop," he interrupted me as he brushed my hands away from my face, only to have his own take over as they ran along my cheeks. "Don't say shit like that."

I shook my head as I leaned away from his touch. "I need to go."

"Bella, jus—"

"Edward, please," I begged, walking past him. "I'll be okay, just...leave me alone for a second, please."

"I'm an asshole, I didn't mean to st—"

"It's okay," I whispered, my back hitting the door. "It's my fault."

"Listen," he started with his fingers tugging on his hair. "Can you just stay? I'll feel better knowing that you're okay."

I shook my head. "I just need to go and calm down. I can't be...here...right now."

He nodded after a couple of seconds. "Can you maybe call me when you get home?"

I nodded as my back pushed the door open. "Edward, I'm sorry about your..." I paused, pointing at his face.

He shook his head. "Honestly, no worries. I've had worse, yeah?"

I nodded as I turned around, stepping out of the kitchen. After quickly making my way over to the front door, I heard Rose calling my name but I ignored her and left the apartment. Feeling a hand wrap itself over one of my arms while I headed down the hallway, I looked over my shoulder with narrowed eyes. "Hey, what's your fucking deal, Bella?"

"I'm not in the mood for your goddamn bullshit, Rose. Leave me the fuck alone."

"No!" she growled as she shoved me, returning my anger. "Stop fucking pushing me away."

I ground my teeth together as I pushed her up against the wall, ignoring her widened eyes. "Leave me alone."

"Fine!" she spat, pushing me away from her. "Bitch!"

I gave her the finger before walking away. After yanking open the doors that led out into the parking lot, my name was called out once again, and I growled, ignoring it once again, while I headed over towards my truck.

"B!"

Why can't everyone leave me the fuck be, man?

Turning around, I hissed. "What, James? Can't you see that I'm not in the goddamn mood right now?"

He held his hands up as he walked over to me. "I just wanted to ask you where you were heading off to."

"Home!" I yelled, throwing my hands up in the air.

"Hey, no need to yell," he whispered, "I'm heading that way, too. Let me drive with you, yeah?"

I nodded as I lowered my head, trying to calm down. "Whatever, yeah, that's fine."

We drove to Andy's house in silence, and that was exactly what I needed.

I can't believe that I hit Edward like that, that I just blacked the hell out.

It was eerie how I just...snapped.

After I parked, we both stepped out of my truck at the same time and started heading towards the front door. Once I unlocked it, I placed my hand over his shoulder, stopping him from going inside. "You good?" he asked, looking down at me.

"Once we go inside, just don't…ask me what made me storm out like that, yeah?"

He nodded. "No problem."

"Thanks," I whispered as I stepped into the living room.

After hearing him shut the door, I headed towards the kitchen. Once I took a seat, James walked in and went over to the fridge to pull out two bottles of beer. "No," I whispered, shaking my head as I stood up. "I am in a different kind of a mood than earlier."

He watched me while I walked over to the counter. Standing up on my tippy toes, I pulled one of the cabinets open and brought out my bottle of whiskey before twisting the cap off. "Nice," he whispered after I took a few too many swigs of the liquor, placing the beer back into the fridge. "Now we're fucking talking. Pass it here."

I walked over to where he stood and gave him the bottle before I returned to my seat. "Fucking hell, man."

"Here." I looked over at him as he took a seat across from me, holding the bottle towards me. "Go ahead."

"I appreciate people who know when sharing is considered stupid," I mumbled, taking it out of his hand.

Whiskey Bottle Gone, That Much Later

James looked down at his watch and cursed as I leaned back into my chair. "I gotta head out. You good?"

"Go ahead," I whispered, giggling at his sluggishness. "I'm good."

Good?

I'm fucking wrecked, is what I am.

Standing up, he laughed as he swayed before he shook his head and grabbed a hold of the table. Meeting my eyes again, he raised a lazy brow. "I'll see you tomorrow?"

I giggled again. "Right—o," I slurred.

He nodded before he walked over to me, and when he held out his hand, I looked at his palm with scrunched together eyebrows, trying to figure out what exactly the kid was giving me, because whatever it was, wasn't there. "Uh, Bella, do you want any help getting up?"

A loud laugh escaped me. "No!" I shouted, looking up at him. "I'm goo—" hiccup, "good!"

"You're good?" he asked with a smirk.

"I'm just going to stay here for a bit," I whispered as I looked around, amazed by how clean the kitchen was.

He shook his head before he walked over to the door. "Alright, I'll see you later."

"Immaculate," I whispered, flabbergasted. "This goddamn kitchen, no words."

Ringg Rinnnngggggg Ringg...

"Huh?" I asked, myself apparently, since no one else was in the room. I nearly jumped out of my seat when I felt one of my ass cheeks vibrating. Figuring out that someone was calling me, I yelped an excited "Oh" before I pulled my cell phone out of my back jean pocket, flipping it open with a smile. "Ye—" hiccup, "Yeah?"

Silence.

"Hello!" I screamed.

"Christ! My fucking ear drum, Bae!"

"Sex Hair?" I laughed, for absolutely no reason.

"You didn't call m—" He paused. "Sex Hair? Are you alright, Bella?"

I went to lean back into my chair, but ended up completely missing it as I fell off, hissing as soon as my stupid hip made contact with the hardwood floor. "Ouch! I fell, goddamn-it."

Why I wanted to inform the kid that I fell, you ask?

No clue.

Blame the whiskey.

I heard him laughing on the other end of the line and pouted. "You're wrecked, yeah?"

I hummed in confirmation before I growled at the pain of trying to get up. "Fuck Phil and his entire existence."

Edward cool voice changed to uncool. "Phil? You're with that fuc—"

"No!" I interrupted, shaking my head. "I'm not with...him. I just fell on my goddamn hip, that's all."

"Are you at Andy's?"

I nodded.

"Bae?"

"Yeah?" I whispered, crawling towards the counter like a lion. "Rawr!"

"I don't really know why you're making that sound right now, but I asked you if you were at Andy's..."

"And I said yes!" I shouted, "God, are you deaf, or something?"

"Bella, you didn't say anyth—you know what, never mind," he laughed, and I joined in, not know what was so funny all of a sudden. "I'll see you in a little bit, al—"

"No!" I screamed before I apologized as he groaned in annoyance slash pain. "You can't drive out here," I told him in a whisper as I grabbed a hold of the edge of the counter. "You've been drinking, so my suggestion is to not get into your car. Be responsible, Cullenooooohhh..." I groaned when things started spinning after I pulled myself up to my feet. "I feel like I'm on the titanic. Hey! Can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead," he said in some louder than necessary voice, trying to hide the beep of his car alarm disarming.

Did the kid ever listen to me?

Nooooopppeee.

"Alright, so listen up," I started as I slowly turned around to lean against the counter, "If you were Rose, from the movie Titanic, right?" He hummed before I continued. "And I was Jake, from that same goddamn retarded movie, right?"

"Okay, I'm following..."

"And BAM! There goes the ship, right?"

He snorted. "Right..."

"Hey!" I yelled, pissed off. "This is serious, Edward!"

"Okay, yeah, go ahead."

I moaned as I heard the engine starting. "Oh that fucking machinery."

"Bae," he laughed, "come on. You were telling me a story, stop moaning."

"Alright, this 'so called' unsinkable ship goes down...gargle...gargle...garg—hey, what's so funny, man?"

"What sound does the ship make when it goes down again?"

"Garg—oh, shut up!" I laughed, now realizing what the kid found so funny a second ago. "Anyway, back to my point. The ship's down, right? So, here you are...inconsiderate Rose, staying afloat as you lay on a piece of the 'unsinkable' bullshit that they so wrongly promised you...while here the fuck I am...selfless Jack, whose frozen dick is ten seconds away from becoming a shark's midnight snack of a popsicle. Wouldn't you like...move over, so that we could both be out of the cold Atlantic Ocean?"

Silence.

"Ro—I mean, Edward?"

"Exactly how much did you have to drink, Bae?"

"Whatever," I replied, rolling my eyes. "Answer the question."

"Yeah, I would find a way for both of us to be on that motherfucker."

I nodded, completely satisfied and on his level. "Good man. I mean, alright, sure...one time, that fucking broad tried moving over to let Dawson on, but when the piece of ship started swaying a little bit from his weight, she gave up. I mean, hello! Let's try again, am I right or am I right?"

Silence.

"RIGHT?" I yelled into the phone.

Dial tone.

I pouted as I looked at the screen. "You hung up on me." I tried calling the prick back, but it went straight to voicemail. "Sex Hair, what the fuck? You just hang up on me, no big deal, huh? Well whatevs...We're over!"

"Bella?"

"Ahhhhhhh," I whispered all calmly before I snorted.

I didn't even yell the bitch.

I just said ahh like it was a normal fucking occurrence.

I'm great.

"Andy, what are you doing home?" I slurred as he grinned, walking over to the counter.

Pulling one of the drawers open, he raised an eyebrow at me. "Did you not see the time?" he asked, pulling a baggie out from his 'hiding' spot before walking over to the table and taking a seat. "I'm fucking exhausted."

I looked over at the clock and low and behold. Three hundred O'clock.

"Here we go again," I mumbled to myself as I kicked my chucks off of my feet.

"Bella, what are you doing?"

I looked over at the door and grinned when I saw Edward standing in front of it. He raised an eyebrow at Andy as I struggled with pulling my hoodie off of my being. "The chick said something about here we go again," Andy answered his silent question as I dominated the fabric that was trying to attach itself to my body.

"Let me guess," Edward whispered before he started heading towards me, looking down at the watch that was wrapped around his wrist. "You think that the world is coming to an end since it's three hundred?" After giving the kid a nod in answer, I grabbed a hold of the bottom hem of my tee. When I went to lift it, Edward's fingers quickly went over my own, stopping their mission. "Why are you trying to get naked, Bella?"

"Bedtime," I simply replied.

He grinned as he lowered my shirt, brushing my hands away from the fabric afterwards. "Are you alright?" he asked, bending his knees a bit to look into my eyes.

I nodded, leaning back a little so that I could see his face better. "I'm sorry," I winced, touching his cheek as I noticed the yellow bruise that started to show over his smooth skin. "I'm such a fucking m—"

He interrupted my words by lifting me up and placing me on top of the counter. "I told you, I've had worse."

Lowering my head, I shook it. "That's not an excuse. I shouldn't have sl—"

"Stop," he whispered, interrupting me again as his knuckles tapped my thighs. "You're making a big deal out of nothing," he continued after I let him stand in between my legs. I rolled my eyes at the kid's ease and he smirked. "Honest to God, Bae...if you mention it again, I'll make you regret it."

I grinned. "I'm not scared of you, Cullen."

Andy laughed and I looked over Edward's shoulder to see him shaking his head at me. "You should be."

Edward turned around and glared at him. "Mind your own fu—"

"Edward would never hurt me," I whispered with a pout.

Wow.

am loaded.

Andy mumbled something under his breath as Edward turned around so that he was facing me again. "You're right," he whispered, tucking my hair behind my ears. "I wouldn't."

"You're creeping me out," I laughed, smacking his hands away from their weird behavior. Looking around the room, I groaned as I stated the obvious, or what should have been the obvious. "I'm bored."

"What do you wanna do?"

"Drink."

"Nah," he smirked, "I think that you've had enough fun with that, Jack." I rolled my eyes at his teasing before I raised a brow at his own raised brow. "I have to run over to my Ma's though, do you wanna come with me?"

"Yes!" I screamed, apparently towards his ear seeing as to how he cringed away from me. "Esme!"

He shook his head with a small grin as he bent down to pick up to my chucks. After shoving them on my feet in some rude as all fuck type of a way, the kid took a hold of my hips and lifted me off of the counter, pursing his lips together at the stupid cheerleader-like giggle that left my mouth. "Tell me," he began in a whisper as he placed me on the floor, keeping his hands on me only because I clearly couldn't stand on my own. "What high school football team are you rooting for?"

"Are you done?" I asked, trying to stop the smile that was dying for an out.

He laughed as he turned his attention to the table. "A-man, I got her." The kid nodded in response, and after  Edward turned around and bent over some, I may have backed away a little bit to check out his ass — which was hella fine, by the way — before I raised an eyebrow at him as he looked over his shoulder. "Hop on, Bae."

So I did.

But I jumped instead of hopped, because a rabbit, I clearly am not.

He groaned an "Oomph," before he stood up and adjusted me. Placing his hands underneath my thighs that were probably strangling his waist, he started heading towards the kitchen door, looking at Andy as he lit up the joint that he just got done wrapping. "She's staying with me tonight, so lock the house after us, yeah?"

"Got it," Andy whispered, waving us off.

When Edward pushed the door open, I smacked the side of his face. "Wait, stop!"

"I already have it," he whispered, holding up my hoodie, "Chill out with your hits."

I smiled as I kissed the side of his neck. "Thanks, dude."

"No worries, dude," he grinned, his hands over my ass hitching it up higher.
