Author's note...with a side of fire =\

Hey, people =/

Alright, don't hate me.

I left a little shout out on that communication box or whatever you want to call it, letting you guys know that my electricity was out, and that I'd post the new chapter as soon as peco would allow me.

Last night, I came home from night class...excited as all hell that peco even existed, since everything was as it should be with light and power. As I was in the middle of running through the chapter to make sure that everything was cool...the smoke detector goes off...which...woah.

Talk about a freak out. Fire and me? No good. All that I know is that my husband bursts into the kitchen and tells me to get out...which had me con-fu gripping the kid (since his save-the-day ass wanted to go upstairs - that, mind you, was enclosed in an orange glow - to investigate, what with that scene being something that he's used to...being a volunteer firefighter himself) while I grabbed a hold of my dog and chased the cat as she ran for her life...dramatic, but true.

Skipping the sob story...the entire second floor of my house is now charcoal...that was caused by an unknown thing that is under 'investigation.'

The chapter is done...I just need to go over it.

Bear with my over-stressed ass at this time...yeah? Just know that I didnt forget about you hookahs...but I've just been...a bit crazy since last night, what with dealing with the insurance company that I thank the lord for and numerous adjusters all day long...and not being able to sleep in our bed since its nonexistent...and the smoke that can still be smelled from thousands of miles away...
